Dear [firstname,Friend,]
The Elberta Dunes South land protection project is near and dear to our hearts. This project began with the lofty goal of raising over $2 million in public and private donations and today we have just $20,000 in remaining need - AND a challenge grant to help us reach the goal of permanently protecting Elberta Dunes South!
The challenge to us is this: raise $10,000 in 20 days and every dollar will be matched by a generous grant in honor of Diana and William Osgood Field!
Ted and Marcia Curran (Marcia serves on our Board of Directors) wished to issue this project's third and final challenge grant in honor of a dear friend, Diana Field and her father, the world-famous glaciologist, William Osgood Field. This is, no doubt, an honor of which they would be most proud given the unique characteristics of Lake Michigan's glacial dunes.
To everyone who has supported the permanent protection of Elberta Dunes South - we thank you. If you have not yet added your name to the list of supporters, now is the time! Add the permanent protection of these critical dunes to your legacy - you can be proud of it forever!
